Partnerships

Our partnerships with health care providers and recovery organizations help us provide life-changing addiction treatment to communities throughout the nation.

The Recovery Village Drug and Alcohol Rehab is partnered with a wide variety of health care providers, clinicians, nonprofit groups and awareness organizations. Our partnerships help us provide drug and alcohol addiction treatment throughout the country, helping countless individuals who may otherwise be unable to find recovery.

By continually expanding our network of professional organizations and referral partners, we are able to increase awareness of recovery options and advocate for those in underserved communities. Our relationships with the following organizations have made it possible for many to receive the help they need.

Baptist Health

The Recovery Village Drug and Alcohol Rehab partnered with Baptist Health South Florida in February 2020. Baptist Health is the largest health care organization in the region, with 11 hospitals and more than 100 outpatient centers, urgent care facilities and physician practices spanning across Miami-Dade, Monroe, Broward and Palm Beach counties. Our partnership has allowed us to improve access to high-quality addiction treatment in South Florida. The three new substance abuse treatment centers are located in Lake Worth and Miami, including The Recovery Village Palm Beach at Baptist Health Drug and Alcohol Rehab.

Cooper Health

The Recovery Village Cherry Hill at Cooper, located in Cherry Hill, NJ, opened in April 2020. The state-of-the-art facility was created in partnership with Cooper University Health Care to help combat rising opioid use rates in the state by providing evidence-based care and recovery support services. Our partnership with Cooper is aimed toward improving access to addiction treatment throughout the Northeast, and additional facilities are planned to open in the future.

International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF)

Fire fighters experience higher than average rates of substance abuse due to the trauma these individuals experience on the job. To help address debilitating substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders in this population, The Recovery Village Drug and Alcohol Rehab and International Association of Fire Fighters opened the IAFF Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health Treatment and Recovery in March 2017. The facility is located in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, and its treatment programs are designed specifically for fire fighters, paramedics and other IAFF members.

Project Opioid

Project Opioid is a Florida organization made up of over 300 community leaders dedicated to raising awareness about the state’s opioid crisis. The organization provides employers, businesses and communities information about how to address and reduce opioid-related addiction and death throughout the state. We partnered with Project Opioid to help people with addiction find the life-saving help they need and raise awareness among employers and businesses statewide.

Miss America/Real Talk

The Recovery Village Drug and Alcohol Rehab has partnered with The Miss America Organization and Miss Florida Scholarship Pageant for several years to create an outreach program called “Real Talk.” The program is aimed at teaching high schoolers, college students and the public about the dangers of substance use. Past Real Talk programs visited colleges and high schools throughout the state, where Miss Florida spoke to students in an honest, straightforward way about the realities of teen substance abuse. The partnership continued in 2020 as a webinar series featuring Miss America 2020 Camille Schrier on medication safety and abuse prevention.
