FAQs

Orlando Outpatient Center collaborates with most national and local insurance carriers. Although a majority of insurance policies cover mental health and substance abuse counseling services, it’s common for them to also require some personal financial contribution. These out-of-pocket expenses can include copays, coinsurance, and deductibles, which are collectively referred to as “Patient Responsibility.” To verify your specific coverage details and confirm whether Orlando Outpatient Center is an in-network provider, please reach out to your insurance company or our knowledgeable staff for assistance.

Outpatient treatment offers individuals the opportunity to address their mental health and substance use issues while maintaining their regular commitments like work, school, and family responsibilities. This type of treatment provides greater autonomy because it is less intensive and more flexible than inpatient programs. Outpatient services are ideally suited for those with mild to moderate substance use and mental health conditions or for individuals transitioning from an inpatient setting.

Intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) typically extend for a month or more. Upon finishing an IOP, patients usually progress to a standard outpatient program, which may continue for three to nine months. The National Institute on Drug Abuse advocates for longer treatment durations to enhance the likelihood of sustained recovery.

A Recovery Advocate from our center will discuss with you to assess your treatment requirements and arrange your initial session. It’s possible to start your treatment on the same day you call or shortly thereafter. Upon your arrival at our facility, an intake specialist will conduct a further discussion to develop a customized treatment plan tailored to your specific concerns and needs.
