Boundaries 101: How to Improve Wellness Through Setting Limits

Overview:

The purpose of this presentation is to discuss the link between boundary setting and emotional wellness. This presentation will be helpful to anyone who attends but will also include information specific to clinicians on how to set boundaries in the clinical relationship and the benefit of doing so. This presentation will also offer additional resources, such as readings, as a follow-up on how to improve boundaries.

About the Presenter:

Ritu Anand, LCSW has over 15 years of experience working in a variety of nonprofit environments with different populations including immigrant families and adults, children with disabilities, college students, families experiencing domestic violence, and adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Ritu also has a background as a clinician, trainer, and supervisor in the fields of community mental health and crisis intervention.
